Sales, Local Marketing, and Lead Generation Specialist

The Sales, Local Marketing, and Lead Generation Specialist role supports American Family Insurance, Charles F. Harrison Agency in Saint Cloud, MN, focusing on expanding agency visibility and generating qualified referral opportunities through COI relationships, community involvement, and proactive outbound prospecting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with Centers of Influence through a structured, repeatable outreach process.
• Document interactions, plan follow-ups, and manage ongoing engagement using the COI tracking tool.
• Develop COI partnerships with mortgage brokers, realtors, car dealerships, financial advisors, the Chamber of Commerce, and community organizations/events.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings and regular touchpoints to strengthen referral opportunities.
• Create and post consistent social media content focused on education, local involvement, and trust-building.
• Develop and execute a repeatable strategy for generating online reviews on Google and other platforms.
• Follow up with new business clients after binding to request reviews and referrals.
• Coordinate and support the agency's community presence through sponsorships, local events, and networking opportunities to increase brand awareness and inbound leads.
• Complete approximately 30 outbound calls per day, blending personal lines calls with small business touchpoints.
• Develop and structure a formal referral program, including documented processes and consistent execution.
• Utilize the Relate system to schedule tasks, manage workflows, and maintain clear, detailed notes.
• Create and distribute email newsletters to nurture prospects, clients, and referral partners.
• Implement scheduled email systems for small business contacts to drive quoting opportunities.
• Conduct small business site visits and outreach to identify sales opportunities and secure quoting activity.
• Pursue cross-sell opportunities, recognizing that securing a business policy often leads to personal lines accounts as well.
