Job Description

The Product and Digital Marketing Lead at Buckingham Manufacturing oversees product information management, market research, digital marketing, and content creation to support launches and growth. The role collaborates with the Director on releases, drives marketing and social media initiatives, manages the Amazon catalog, and supports new product development and industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate product data for new and existing offerings, including information, specifications, and applications.
  • Direct the capture and usage of top quality photography assets and optimize content for search engines (SEO).
  • Coordinate with the Director from part number creation through to end-user product releases.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement product placement strategies aligned with Buckingham Manufacturing's market growth and share model (QUESTION, STAR, DOG, COW).
  • Assist in analyzing product lines to meet margin targets via pricing adjustments, promotions, distribution goals, and discontinuation decisions.
  • Create advertising content and conduct market research for potential new products and existing lines.
  • Prepare a Weekly Intel Report to inform organizational market insights.
  • Interpret market trends to steer product strategy and work with departments to identify trends related to features, costs, and placement.
  • Develop, curate, and deploy compelling content to attract, engage, and convert visitors into sales.
  • Collect and analyze online statistics to identify marketplace trends and best practices for optimizing digital marketing performance.
  • Manage all social media content and contribute to other digital marketing initiatives.
  • Under engineering and management guidance, oversee select product development initiatives assigned to the role.
  • Support key marketing and sales events such as the International Linemen’s Rodeo, Utility Expo, TCIA, and other major events, including event setup and staffing.
  • Occasional travel to 4–6 events per year.
  • Oversee Amazon catalog management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Two or more years of related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Ability to operate in a vigilant, safety-minded manner.

  • Manages all social media content and contributes to broader digital marketing strategies.

New Product Development

  • Under engineering and management guidance, manages select product development initiatives assigned to the role.

Other Key Duties

  • Assists with major marketing and sales events such as industry rodeos and expos, including event setup and staffing.
  • Amazon catalog management.
