Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Serve as the department subject matter expert on marketing, staying current with industry trends, social media practices, and proven best practices.
- Maintain regular touchpoints with stakeholders to align on marketing objectives and track results.
- Collaborate with the PBI Vice President of Marketing to shape and refine the Marketing Strategic Plan.
- Assist regional marketing teams and PBI resources in creating, managing, and measuring market or initiative based plans.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify target audiences and craft content that engages, inspires, and motivates action.
- Partner with senior management to develop marketing solutions tailored to business needs as a trusted advisor.
- Develop, implement, and monitor the department budget.
- Coordinate campaigns and promotions across all banks, including scheduling and delivery logistics.
- Contribute to all stages of advertising development, from ideation through execution and assessment.
- Build and maintain databases and systems to support future marketing goals and ideas.
- Provide copywriting and editing support for digital ads, emails, social posts, radio, print, and PR as needed.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness against goals and deliver performance reports to leadership.
- Plan and organize multiple projects efficiently to deliver measurable results.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure excellence across functions.
- Attend meetings, stakeholder briefings, and industry events, delivering marketing updates as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing role.
- Knowledge of the banking industry is preferred.
- Strong familiarity with social media trends and best practices.
- Experience with web analytics tools (for example Google Analytics).
- Experience with WordPress CMS, Kadince, Navigator, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.) is required.

About the Role
The Marketing Specialist assists the head of Marketing in developing strategies to raise the profile and visibility of the PBI banks. This role involves communicating with upper management and department heads to ensure campaigns move smoothly from concept to execution, and works across regions to achieve strategic goals, produce market and initiative plans, and help develop practical budgets.
