Job Description

CBIZ offers an onsite Marketing Manager role in Costa Mesa, CA that empowers you to shape regional marketing strategy, lead cross-channel campaigns, and measure impact to drive growth. You will collaborate with services, regions, and industries; build strong relationships with internal leaders and external partners; and guide junior team members within a collaborative, results‑driven culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a regional marketing and communications plan aligned to regional priorities and enterprise campaigns.
  • Support the annual planning and budgeting process, prioritizing initiatives with local and industry leadership.
  • Drive integrated campaigns across email, web, social, and paid channels while maintaining consistent messaging and brand standards.
  • Plan and execute seminars, conferences and tradeshows, sponsorships, and CBIZ hosted events end to end, including logistics, vendors, and run-of-show.
  • Coordinate pre and post‑event outreach and follow‑up activities.
  • Track, measure, and communicate performance metrics such as pipeline, engagement, leads, and wins; apply insights to refine plans.
  • Partner across services, regions, and industries to align priorities and share best practices.
  • Serve as a liaison between office and industry teams and the broader marketing organization.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal leaders and external partners; gather feedback to improve programs.
  • Provide direction to junior team members and cross‑functional contributors; promote a collaborative, results‑driven culture.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 7 years of marketing experience
  • Must have and preserve required licenses
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to travel as required by business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with a preference for B2B and professional services
  • Proficient in applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel as required by the business
