Marketing & Graphic Design Coordinator
Job Description
The Carrollton Farmers Branch Independent School District’s Communications team is seeking a Marketing & Graphic Design Coordinator to help shape district-wide marketing efforts and strengthen brand presence across campus and central office initiatives. This role partners strategically with communications colleagues to research, develop, and refine marketing strategies and events designed to drive engagement, increase enrollment and recruitment, and communicate CFBISD’s story clearly and consistently.
Working onsite in Carrollton, TX, the Coordinator also leads branding and graphic design, producing complex digital and print collateral while supporting the planning and execution of special events and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing and branding strategies, collaborating with stakeholders to create and execute marketing plans for district programs, initiatives, and events.
- Draft, develop, and edit creative advertising and promotional campaigns for digital and print platforms.
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends, measure marketing effectiveness, and recommend data-driven next steps.
- Write and edit copy for a range of publications, including news, features, scripts, business materials, web content, social media, and public relations messaging.
- Plan, create, and evaluate graphic and video content for social media in collaboration with the Digital Media Coordinator and Social Media Specialist.
- Produce original digital artwork and graphic layouts for campus and district initiatives and events.
- Coordinate and produce or purchase marketing materials, including letters, key messages, FAQs, brochures, digital presentations, fliers, and other design collateral.
- Lead planning and implementation of special events and programs.
- Support and maintain district brand standards across all communications.
- Operate independently with minimal direction while also collaborating as part of a larger team.
- Maintain confidentiality in matters related to FERPA.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of progressive experience developing and implementing marketing campaigns, managing brand presence, communicating messaging to target audiences, and supporting event planning.
- Experience in K-12 education or mission-driven organizations is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong writing skills for marketing materials; knowledge of Associated Press Style is preferred.
- Ability to create high-quality, brand-aligned visuals that support district marketing goals.
- Ability to translate brand standards into usable tools for non-designers.
- Strong project management skills to plan and execute campaigns and events, meet deadlines, and manage resources efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to research, plan, execute, and evaluate projects, events, and campaigns.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish or other languages) is preferred.
- Collaborative, relationship driven, organized, adaptable, and deadline oriented.
- Portfolio demonstrating brand-aligned design, campaign work, digital content, and KPI-driven results.
- Experience planning, organizing, and executing successful events.
