Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator for Proposals at Gensler focuses on end-to-end production of marketing collateral and proposal sections, partnering with senior marketers to pursue opportunities and grow into a marketing leader.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end production of marketing collateral, BD assets, and proposal sections, taking substantive ownership rather than simply executing tasks.
- Collaborate with marketing specialists and leaders on proposal development, design, and copy, ensuring alignment with Gensler's brand standards.
- Contribute to pursuit planning and win strategy discussions.
- Manage multiple parallel projects and deadlines while maintaining high quality.
- Keep marketing resources such as resumes, case studies, and project libraries current, accurate, and trusted.
- Develop deep familiarity with Gensler's portfolio, practice areas, and firm-wide capabilities.
- Lead special projects that elevate the quality of marketing output.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of marketing or communications experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong graphic design and visual communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Learning mindset: curious about new tools and technologies, open to new ways of working, and motivated to grow.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or Premiere Pro.
- Familiarity with Google Slides, Miro, or AI-enabled creative/workflow tools.
- Experience at an architecture, interior design, or AEC firm is a plus.
