Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator at the ASPCA supports planning, execution, optimization and reporting for brand- and audience-driven campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Communication and Development divisions to plan and execute integrated campaigns that engage key audiences, including animal welfare professionals (B2B) and policymakers.
- Assist in compiling campaign assets, messaging and routing materials for review and approval across multiple marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate day-to-day work with external vendors and partners to ensure deliverables are met.
- Assist in developing, executing and tracking performance of paid and pro bono media plans.
- Partner with creative and event teams to develop brand activations that drive audience engagement and expand reach.
- Identify and cultivate brand marketing partnerships that enhance visibility and impact.
- Collaborate with the corporate partnerships team to support marketing needs tied to development initiatives.
- Coordinate project management across integrated campaigns and key initiatives using internal tools, processes and workflows.
- Organize and facilitate virtual and in-person team meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, notetaking and documentation of key takeaways.
- Provide stakeholders with clear updates on project status, milestones, timelines and performance insights.
- Serve as a point of contact for inbound requests from external vendors and prospective brand partners, evaluating and routing as appropriate.
- Monitor emerging marketing trends and share relevant insights or recommendations to inform testing and innovation.
- Support the marketing team with the vendor invoicing process and maintain accurate budget tracking across all marketing initiatives.
- Partner with analytics and reporting leads to monitor KPIs that measure awareness and engagement across campaigns, key moments and priority projects.
- Contribute to the development of campaign and project reports by compiling data and summarizing performance insights.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly organize and share information with team members and stakeholders.
- Foundational knowledge of marketing principles and tactics used to build awareness and engage audiences.
- Solid organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting timelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners in a diverse, team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable in supporting assigned projects and tasks.
- Interest in staying informed on marketing trends and best practices, with a willingness to learn and apply new ideas.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting within marketing, communications, nonprofit, or related environments.
- Ability to model and support ASPCA’s core values and contribute positively to team culture.

Compensation
- Hourly pay range: USD 27.41 - 28.85 per hour
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or related field
- Experience with integrated marketing campaigns and/or paid media planning and execution preferred
- Proficient in project management tools is a plus (Asana, AirTable, Clickup, etc.)
Location and Travel
- Hybrid position in New York, NY with occasional commuting to the 8th Avenue location
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% annually
