Providence Academy offers a full-time, on-campus Marketing Content Specialist role in Plymouth, MN with a salary of $50,000 to $60,000 per year. Responsibilities
- Serve as the Academy’s primary photographer and videographer, capturing daily life across classrooms, athletics, arts, and community for all divisions
- Own the Academy’s social media presence by developing and executing a content strategy that builds community awareness, engages prospective families, and supports enrollment goals for Admissions
- Produce donor-facing content in collaboration with the Development team to deepen relationships with supporters
- Create photo and video content—short and long form—for Admissions, Development, Alumni Relations, Athletics, and the Arts, tailored to specific audiences and goals
- Assist with graphic design for digital and print platforms
- Support the Marketing & Communications Coordinator on collaborative projects and regular school communications
- Collaborate with other staff and directors to ensure content is cohesive, on-brand, and mission-aligned
- Track performance metrics across platforms and use data to inform content decisions and improve reach and engagement
- Ensure all outreach reflects Providence Academy’s identity as a faithfully Catholic, academically serious, and joyful PK-12 school
- Attend and document school events as assigned
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred; demonstrated experience with a strong portfolio can speak equally well
- Proven experience with photography and videography, including capture and editing for short and long-form content
- Experience managing institutional or organizational social media accounts with measurable results
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva; experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent)
- Understanding of social media strategy and platform-specific best practices (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with print vendors, mail houses, or digital advertising platforms is a plus
- A genuine appreciation for Catholic education and understanding of what makes Providence Academy distinctive
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
