Job Description
Onsite in Howell, Michigan, this leadership role directs global marketing communications strategy and brand stewardship for Chem-Trend. You will shape messaging and orchestrate integrated campaigns across digital, social, public relations, and earned media to elevate visibility and engagement worldwide. Responsibilities
- Serve as the global brand custodian for Chem-Trend, elevating the brand and telling its story across markets.
- Lead customer-focused communications that clarify the value proposition for both internal teams and external audiences worldwide.
- Collaborate with senior leaders in HR, Sales, Business Development, and Technology to identify opportunities, shape culture, and launch programs that boost engagement and raise brand visibility.
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns across digital, social media, public relations, and earned media to position Chem-Trend as an industry leader and employer of choice.
- Steer thought leadership and strategic PR initiatives to build credibility, broaden market reach, support search visibility, and showcase the company’s expertise and value.
- Apply data-driven methods to communications, define meaningful KPIs, assess campaign results, and continuously refine strategies to maximize engagement and business impact.
- Advance the global corporate intranet into the primary destination for company news, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Lead a global communications committee that represents regional perspectives, shaping enterprise leadership communications and ensuring consistent, meaningful engagement across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven communications and PR expertise with strong command of English writing, including AP style, capable of translating complex technical and corporate content into clear, persuasive messaging.
- Experience developing and managing strategic, multi-faceted marketing programs that require coordinating multiple internal and external parties.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in a marketing communications role within a corporate environment; significant experience in an industrial B2B setting is highly desired.
