Job Description

Temple Beth Shalom in Santa Fe invites a hands-on Marketing Communications Manager to lead our marketing, online engagement, and fundraising efforts. This part-time, hybrid role (up to 30 hours per week) reports to the Executive Director and focuses on strengthening connections with our members while expanding reach within Jewish life.

Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing content with messaging and visuals to support programmatic and fundraising activities for Temple Beth Shalom.
  • Foster online connectivity and community among members.
  • Assist fundraising and stewardship by producing online appeals.
  • Establish and maintain a clear communications voice through the organization by building messaging standards and protocols.
  • Identify opportunities to engage non-affiliated audiences in Jewish life and inform them about Temple Beth Shalom.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to generate ideas for online and offline programs that boost participation and grow membership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in marketing communications or a BA in marketing or communications.
  • Proven ability to solve problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences; writing samples may be requested.
  • Attention to detail in grammar and visual presentation.
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to take initiative while also accepting direction.
  • Strong prioritization, scheduling, and deadline-management capabilities.
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of Temple Beth Shalom.
  • Experience photographing and manipulating images.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 65,000 to 75,000 per year
