Marketing & Business Development Coordinator

The Marketing and Business Development Coordinator supports marketing, tourism, and community engagement initiatives at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center, part of Pacific Retail Capital Partners. Based in Kahului, Hawaii, the role focuses on developing and executing strategic campaigns to drive traffic and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Implement marketing strategies that include events, public relations, tourism, and promotions to boost center traffic, grow tenant sales, strengthen community engagement, and support revenue growth.
• Oversee the shopping center digital presence by maintaining website content, developing social media and multimedia campaigns, and creating email and SMS communications to engage audiences and expand the customer database.
• Support revenue generation through sponsorship development, specialty leasing initiatives, retailer recruitment, advertising sales, and relationship-building with prospective tenants and business partners.
• Foster retailer partnerships through sales analysis, ongoing communication, sharing trends, and collaborative programs designed to maximize store performance and overall center success.
• Collaborate with property leadership and guest services teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing programs, tenant support, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, event analysis, tenant sales tracking, and performance measurement to inform business decisions and evaluate marketing effectiveness.

Requirements

• A college degree and at least two years of experience in marketing or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including Facebook and Instagram advertising, retargeting, and marketing analytics.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with experience collaborating across teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed for events and conferences.
