Marketing and Social Media Content Creator
Job Description
This on-site role at A Degree Above in Mabank, TX leads digital marketing and content creation, overseeing social media, the company website, branding, recruiting campaigns, and basic IT support.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms.
- Produce engaging photo, video, and written content that highlights projects, team members, culture, recruiting efforts, and customer success stories.
- Grow and manage the company’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and additional social channels.
- Plan, schedule, and publish content using calendars and scheduling tools.
- Monitor engagement, respond to messages and comments as appropriate, and propose strategies to boost audience growth.
- Track social media analytics and campaign performance to improve reach and engagement.
- Create, launch, and manage Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.
- Develop recruiting advertisements aimed at skilled trades professionals.
- Create lead-generation campaigns for HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical services.
- Monitor advertising performance, budgets, and return on investment; recommend data-driven improvements.
- Maintain and update the company website with new projects, services, career opportunities, and news; ensure accuracy and usability.
- Assist with basic search engine optimization to enhance online visibility.
- Maintain consistent branding across digital platforms and printed materials.
- Develop marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, presentations, recruiting materials, newsletters, and promotional items.
- Capture and organize jobsite photography and videos for future campaigns.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to promote career opportunities across digital platforms.
- Create recruiting campaigns that highlight company culture, benefits, travel opportunities, and growth.
- Assist in producing onboarding materials, recruiting videos, and employee spotlight content.
- Support hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives.
- Provide basic IT support for employee computers, printers, mobile devices, and office technology.
- Assist with onboarding by setting up computers, email accounts, software access, and devices; support offboarding by recovering equipment and disabling access.
- Troubleshoot common software and hardware issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Assist staff with Google Workspace, Procore, Housecall Pro, Gusto, Canva, and other business software.
- Maintain inventory of technology assets and software licenses; learn new platforms to support company-wide adoption.
- Document procedures and create user guides for internal systems.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Operations on communications and internal initiatives.
- Support employee appreciation events, meetings, training materials, and presentations.
- Contribute to process improvements related to marketing, technology, and communications.
- Perform additional administrative or technology-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Facebook Advertising: 3 years (Required)
- Social Content Creation: 3 years (Required)
- Minimum experience: 2 years

Education and Experience
- Education: Associate degree preferred

Compensation and Work Details
- Salary: USD 45,000 - 55,000 per year
- Work Location: In person, Mabank, TX (onsite)
- Application Question: This is a Fully in office position. Are you able to commute to Maybank, Texas Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm?
