Job Description

The Marketing and Proposal Coordinator role at Pacific Tech Construction Inc is an onsite position in Kelso, WA, focused on preparing proposals for federal and state agencies, maintaining procurement resources such as resumes, project descriptions, and SF330 forms, and supporting opportunity tracking, writing, editing, and the creation of marketing and presentation materials.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and coordination of marketing materials and graphics, including proposals, resumes, project narratives, and SF330 forms.
  • Keep marketing materials current and accurate across all channels.
  • Track and identify potential projects through assigned client portals, industry sites, and government websites.
  • Support the upkeep of the opportunity tracking database.
  • Write, revise, edit, and standardize content for grammar, clarity, and stylistic consistency.
  • Develop presentation materials and PowerPoint decks for internal and external audiences.
  • Prepare or update resumes for engineers as needed.
  • Incorporate finalized resumes into working proposal documents.
  • Create, send, and follow up on Past Performance Questionnaires to obtain completed responses.
  • Prepare and submit required proposal inputs to meet prime contractor data calls.
  • Solicit and evaluate proposal inputs from subcontractors on prime bids.
  • Review proposal inputs for compliance with RFP instructions and edit for grammar, spelling, and overall alignment.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, English, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum five years of experience in the A/E/C industry is preferred.
  • Experience with federal agency procurements is preferred, including SF330 and Task Order submittals.
  • Strong InDesign and general graphic design skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience in producing, scheduling, and following up on proposals and PowerPoint presentations, coordinating with Project Managers and technical staff.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • A sense of urgency to meet deadlines and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Ability to set schedules for proposal and presentation efforts and keep the team on track.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
