Job Description
The Manager, Integrated Marketing - Narrative at LA28 leads the voice and copy across fan-facing touchpoints, including social, email, web, and app, delivering execution, editing, and narrative strategy. This onsite role in Los Angeles reports to the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing and offers a salary range of USD 88,000 to 115,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Create copy in the LA28 brand voice for social, website, app, and email, including video scripts.
- Interpret and implement messaging strategies across multiple channels and asset types.
- Review and copyedit all written content produced by the marketing team.
- Generate original, social-first concepts aligned with key brand initiatives.
- Develop messaging briefing documents to guide others in content creation for major programs.
- Organize and track incoming copy requests to manage workflow.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to secure copy approvals and legal clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of copywriting experience in-house or at an agency.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex brand voices with nuanced stylization systems.
- Experience in fast-paced environments, juggling multiple projects and priorities.
- Familiarity with content workflows, approvals and project management tools such as Asana and Smartsheet.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Comfortable working with AI tools, preferably Google Gemini.
- Skilled in creating decks and presenting ideas effectively.

About the Digital Engagement and Marketing Team
The Digital Marketing (DIG) team oversees LA28's marketing efforts, with integrated marketing housed within DIG. Integrated marketing develops go-to-market plans for all fan-facing programs and leads the marketing approach, messaging strategy, narrative direction, campaign development and go-to-market execution for programs such as Ticketing, Volunteer, Torch, Mascot and more. Integrated marketing works cross-functionally with DIG counterparts to align initiatives across teams.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Available to work onsite in the Downtown Los Angeles office.
- The majority of work is conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other equipment.
- The office features an open floorplan; the role requires comfort working in an open cubicle environment.
- Hours may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during peak event periods.
- Perform other duties as required; the role may evolve and include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
