Job Description
Role overview: Lead creator marketing and brand activations strategy to expand Gotham FC's presence in the local NYC market, driving brand awareness and audience growth. Reports to the Director, Brand and Fan Experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a creator marketing strategy to reach new audiences, cut through the noise, and grow local awareness for Gotham FC.
- Define creator roadmap and goals with measurable, trackable KPIs.
- Manage external creator and influencer agency relationships and performance.
- Develop creator strategies that align with priority matches and audience growth.
- Approve creator selections, briefs, and content outputs.
- Track performance and optimize campaigns based on KPIs.
- Devise nontraditional marketing strategies leveraging club and brand assets, including stunts and activation plans to generate local awareness in core geographies tied to priority initiatives.
- Own the execution of brand activations from concept through delivery, coordinating with relevant internal teams; initiatives may be creator-led, talent-led, experiential-led, or insight-driven.
- Define clear KPIs for brand stunts, and work cross-functionally with departments such as Content and Communications/PR to bring campaigns to life.
- Support matchday execution with hands-on involvement across key activations and in-stadium creator or VIP experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Sports Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 4ā6 years of experience in brand marketing, creator/influencer marketing, experiential marketing, partnerships, sports, entertainment, or lifestyle marketing.
- Proven experience managing creators, influencers, talent, agencies, or brand partnerships.
- Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns and live activations from strategy through execution.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience analyzing campaign performance and translating insights into future strategy.
- Passion for sports, culture, entertainment, and women's sports, with a solid understanding of emerging trends across social media and creator ecosystems.
- Highly creative thinker with a strong pulse on culture, social trends, and what earns attention organically.
- Exceptional relationship builder with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fast-moving environment.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for matches, events, and activations.
- Passion for delivering innovative fan experiences and elevating Gotham FC's brand within the marketplace.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Location
- Based at Gotham FCās business office at 15 Exchange Place, Jersey City, New Jersey.
- Three in-person days in the office, with flexibility for additional on-site days based on project needs.
- Ability to attend all home games and any mandatory events, and to travel for away games as necessary.
- Willingness to travel for other business-related needs as they arise.
- Candidates must live in the market within reasonable commuting distance of Gotham FCās offices, practice facility, and Sports Illustrated Stadium.
Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time, exempt position.
- Salary Range: USD 70,000 - 90,000 per year.
