IGNITE Communications & Marketing Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy for the IGNITE Incubation Program and Commercialization, while leading and coordinating initiatives to boost visibility and foster community engagement.
- Produce visual and written content that reflects the marketing identity of the Strategic Partnerships & Innovation team and the Florida State University Division of Research.
- Create, edit, and deliver high profile marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and digital and multimedia content.
- Draft and maintain updated marketing collateral for external and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate a broad range of programs and activities designed to promote and publicize strategic initiatives, including conferences, events, exhibition booths, roadshows, and similar activities.
- Engage with community and partner organizations to raise awareness of program initiatives.
- Lead and execute multichannel marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Research communications team.
- Serve as a media contact and organize events, seminars, forums, and press releases in coordination with FSU OVPR and University Communications & Marketing.
- Fulfill other duties related to marketing and communications for Strategic Partnerships & Innovation as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in media, communications, and/or marketing services, or an equivalent combination of postsecondary education and experience totaling eight years.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with university research, incubation, or technology transfer communications and marketing or other technology-based area.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated project management abilities.
