Job Description

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Marketing Finance & Business Management function onsite in Wilmington, Delaware. This role centers on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to back marketing initiatives and improve profitability, with a focus on delivering executive-ready insights and automating reporting through cross-functional collaboration. The position offers a salary range of USD 95,000 - 125,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee annual and ongoing financial planning for assigned product areas
  • Provide month-end performance explanations and forecast rationales to inform business decisions
  • Conduct reviews and in-depth analyses of product financial performance
  • Analyze consumption and demand planning, budgeting, billing trends, and exception reporting
  • Produce efficiency reporting, analytics, and strategic insights, including location strategy and span of control considerations
  • Develop financial business cases to support new initiatives
  • Monitor key metrics, drive data-quality initiatives across the product area, and define forward-looking reporting and analytics needs
  • Create and track performance metrics, prepare presentations, and provide financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management
  • Perform variance analysis and explain drivers relative to prior forecasts and budgets
  • Design new reports and dashboards and streamline processes through controls and automation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a technically related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Business Management, Planning & Analysis, Accounting, or related roles
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in data mining, gathering, and data set manipulation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capacity to analyze large data sets and present concise conclusions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to clearly articulate complex issues
  • Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management
  • Proven track record delivering special projects with limited lead time and ambiguity
  • Team-oriented with the ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines, including strong prioritization and time management
  • Proven ability to manage relationships and act as a trusted partner to Business, Finance, and P&A stakeholders
