Job Description

Enrollment and Marketing Specialist role at Heritage Christian School in Canton, OH, onsite. The position guides the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing and enrollment plan to attract families, grow student enrollment and retention, and enhance the overall family experience.

Overview

Location: Canton, OH (onsite) • Salary: USD 42,000 per year • Education: Associate degree • Experience: 3+ years in marketing, admissions, recruitment, or sales preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and steer the school’s overall marketing strategy and roadmap
  • Plan and execute an enrollment growth program aligned with objectives, with measurable targets by grade level and program
  • Expand lead generation through events, referrals, church and community partnerships, corporate collaborations, and digital channels
  • Manage all stages of the enrollment process: inquiry intake, tours, applications, testing, onboarding
  • Engage with parents, prospective families, the community, and local leaders
  • Ensure timely, professional, and consistent communication with prospective families
  • Create and implement follow-up and nurture workflows for current and prospective families
  • Monitor and improve conversion rates across the admissions funnel
  • Design and implement student retention and re enrollment strategies
  • Utilize CRM and enrollment tracking systems for ongoing measurement
  • Analyze enrollment trends, conversion data, and retention metrics; provide regular reports to leadership
  • Produce and maintain content for the website, social media, and promotional materials
  • Uphold a positive brand image through communications, newsletters, press releases, ads, and events
  • Maintain ongoing communication with prospective and current families
  • Collaborate with administration to ensure branding and messaging align with the mission
  • Partner with the Advancement Officer on communications and events
  • Plan and manage special events and milestone celebrations
  • Operate across multiple computer systems for reporting, tracking, and communication
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information about students and families
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
  • Three or more years of experience in marketing, admissions, recruitment, or sales preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, marketing tools, CRM, Microsoft Office, and basic design software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Solid interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff
  • Commitment to upholding the mission of Heritage Christian School
  • Ability to pass Ohio Revised Code required background check and drug/alcohol testing
