Job Description

Chase Nedrow Industries offers a senior leadership opportunity for a sales and marketing executive who will shape strategy and drive revenue growth across the full product portfolio. This onsite role in South Bend, IN reports to the President within Corporate Staff and leads a cross-functional team that includes Business Development Managers, the Marketing Manager, Sales Representatives, and other commercial staff. The position emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and tangible business impact, with a competitive salary and relocation support to back a culture focused on results and continuous improvement.

Salary: $120,000 to $140,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to meet revenue targets and expand market share across all product segments.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including Business Development Managers, Marketing Manager, Sales Representatives, and other commercial staff.
  • Oversee day-to-day sales operations, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking to ensure consistent achievement of sales goals.
  • Collaborate with Directors on segment specific strategies, customer handoffs, industry intelligence, and support for outages, installations, and key accounts in the markets we serve.
  • Drive marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, branding, trade shows, and promotional campaigns to enhance visibility and generate qualified leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners across all sectors.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, pricing strategies, and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Work closely with operations, construction, and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of high performing sales and marketing talent.

Requirements

  • MBA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership, ideally within refractories, thermal processing, industrial materials, or related technical sectors
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and building high performing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of refractory materials, high emissivity coatings, biofuels, biomass, iron, aluminum, steel, heat treat, and thermal processing applications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel extensively as required for customer visits, industry events, and team management (up to 50% travel)
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
