Job Description

Director of Marketing, Sales & Advertising at R&R Sports - Colorado, LLC in Edwards, CO leads revenue growth, elevates the brand, and drives customer engagement across channels for a family-run outdoor retailer.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement yearly and seasonal sales plans aimed at surpassing revenue goals
  • Analyze sales results, inventory trends, and customer patterns to optimize merchandising and pricing
  • Lead, coach, and inspire retail sales staff to deliver outstanding in-store experiences
  • Partner with buyers and operations to ensure the product mix meets market demand
  • Build and run integrated marketing campaigns spanning digital channels, grassroots efforts, in-store activities, events, and partnerships
  • Steer brand positioning to maintain consistency across all touchpoints
  • Oversee email marketing, social media, website content, and paid media campaigns
  • Cultivate relationships with local businesses, resorts, and community groups to drive traffic and raise brand awareness
  • Promote a premium yet accessible brand identity reflective of mountain lifestyle
  • Improve the customer journey from initial contact through post-purchase loyalty
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal launches, and in-store experiences
  • Manage and mentor the marketing and sales teams
  • Nurture a collaborative, positive culture aligned with family-owned values
  • Work closely with ownership to align on vision, growth, and long-term strategy
  • Monitor KPIs including sales growth, customer acquisition, retention, and ROI of marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • 3-10+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing leadership (retail or outdoor industry preferred)
  • Strong understanding of both brick-and-mortar retail and e-commerce environments
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building brand
  • Experience managing teams and developing talent
  • Passion for skiing, outdoor lifestyle, or mountain communities strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
