Job Description

Director of Account Management oversees the post onboarding client experience across a multi-brand portfolio on TikTok Shop and other marketplaces; leads a team of Account Managers and owns shop health, listings, affiliate performance, content, live commerce results, and P&L.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and grow a team of TikTok Shop Account Managers overseeing the full brand portfolio
  • Establish performance standards, conduct regular one‑on‑ones, and ensure GMV, account health, and client satisfaction targets are met
  • Create playbooks, standard operating procedures, and scalable processes to raise baseline performance across the AM group
  • Recruit and onboard new account managers as the portfolio expands
  • Serve as a hands‑on, player‑coach, engaging in day‑to‑day work with the team
  • Own ongoing health and performance of all active brand accounts after onboarding
  • Maintain a portfolio of strategic accounts as senior point of contact for top brands
  • Lead regular reviews with brand partners to discuss performance trends, opportunities, and future plans
  • Foster trusted relationships with senior brand stakeholders and decision‑makers
  • Ensure storefronts maintain strong shop health scores, policy compliance, and marketplace standing
  • Oversee listing quality across brands, including titles, descriptions, imagery, pricing, and SEO
  • Continuously optimize listings to improve search visibility, conversion rate, and Buy Box performance
  • Identify and resolve flags, policy violations, or platform issues before escalation
  • Own the P&L for managed accounts, understanding revenue, COGS, fees, ad spend, and net contribution
  • Monitor GMV, sell‑through, ROAS, affiliate‑driven revenue, and other key KPIs
  • Spot underperforming accounts or SKUs and craft turnaround plans with owners and timelines
  • Deliver regular executive reporting on portfolio performance, client health, and growth trajectory
  • Coordinate with affiliate, live ops, content, and fulfillment teams to activate brands across channels
  • Align inventory, fulfillment timelines, and promotional calendars with operations and purchasing
  • Collaborate with affiliates to secure top creators promoting managed brands
  • Partner with live ops to feature SKUs in live auction rotations
  • Develop and execute growth strategies per brand, including new products, channels, and promotions
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with brand partners, sharing performance data and roadmaps
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities across the portfolio and coordinate with sales leadership
  • Stay current on platform changes, marketplace trends, and competitor activity to keep brands ahead

Requirements

  • Minimum five years in e‑commerce account management, marketplace management, or digital agency client services
  • At least two years managing and developing a team of account managers or similar client‑facing roles
  • Hands‑on experience with TikTok Shop, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, or comparable platforms
  • Proven track record of GMV growth and improving performance across a multi‑brand portfolio
  • Strong command of e‑commerce P&L and comfort owning financial performance at the account level
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management with brand partners and internal stakeholders
  • Highly organized and process‑oriented, capable of navigating complexity across a large portfolio
  • On‑site work eligibility at the Beverly Hills, CA office
  • TikTok Shop account management experience required (minimum 2 years) and English proficiency
  • Day shift schedule required
  • Located in or willing to commute to Beverly Hills, CA 90210

Compensation

Salary: $85,000 - $135,000 per year
