RAFFLES Boston seeks a Digital Marketing Manager to develop and execute digital marketing content, campaigns, analytics, and partnerships to boost bookings and brand visibility.

  • Salary: USD 83,000 - 88,000 per year
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in communications or related field

Responsibilities

  • Create and refresh content packages for brand sites, including RAFFLES and restaurant pages, with new event and attraction landing pages to attract visitors
  • Lead property tours for influencers, content creators, and media, highlighting signature experiences and storytelling opportunities
  • Design marketing collateral to support hotel operations, sales initiatives, guest communications, events, and brand campaigns while upholding brand standards
  • Write creative messaging for online communications, partner websites, newsletters, and package offers
  • Edit and manage online content; oversee proofreading and ongoing updates
  • Participate in SEM and SEO strategy discussions and execute follow up actions
  • Apply optimization keywords to title tags, alt tags, image tags, and meta descriptions as provided by the hotel's search agency
  • Assess brand and vanity site performance, identify friction points, and present findings and action plans to RDOSM
  • Monitor key metrics in Google Analytics and other tools, track abandonment and conversion, and identify opportunities to grow bookings
  • Collaborate across teams to craft new guest offers, drive conversions, and increase average booking value; provide autonomous reporting on plans, execution, and results
  • Manage vendor relationships with marketing technology partners; document opportunities or service issues with recommended solutions
  • Execute corporate e commerce campaigns aligned with marketing plans within established budgets
  • Participate in photo and video shoots and strategize image usage, including VR and emerging technology
  • Oversee OTA content and imagery via Market Manager and GRC Content Team for sites like Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Kiwi, etc.
  • Maintain presence on listing sites and secure inbound links from local and regional sources
  • Manage online advertising efforts including display ads, networks, and paid directories in collaboration with corporate teams and RDOSM; negotiate with partners as needed
  • Provide monthly reporting to RDOSM and stakeholders using Google Analytics, vendor reports, property systems, and consumer reviews
  • Liaise with digital media outlets, influencers, and bloggers to maximize exposure
  • Negotiate partnerships to deliver maximum ROI
  • Support public relations with online components during crisis and issues management
  • Support affiliate marketing initiatives through editorial and content management of key websites

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Content Management tool or other content management platforms
  • Basic HTML knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools
  • Experience purchasing online display advertising and coordinating digital campaigns
  • Strong written communications skills
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization practices is an asset
  • Fast learner capable of quickly adopting new programs and tasks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field
