Job Description

Content Marketing Manager role at Aligned Data Centers in Plano, TX (hybrid) focused on editorial strategy, cinematic storytelling, brand advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration to drive recruiting and brand visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive content strategy aligned with corporate growth, major project milestones, and recruiting goals.
  • Plan, manage, and execute a dynamic editorial calendar to keep the brand top of mind across digital channels.
  • Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and data center operations to translate technical complexity into audience-friendly narratives.
  • Initiate and scale executive thought leadership programs and employee spotlight campaigns to boost recruiting and industry visibility.
  • Oversee video projects from concept and scripting through filming, directing, editing, and delivery of final assets.
  • Travel to campuses, active construction sites, and corporate events to capture authentic footage and photography.
  • Guide interview subjects to deliver comfortable, authentic, and insightful on-camera conversations.
  • Produce high-retention short-form clips for social media alongside polished long-form narratives for campaigns and internal culture.
  • Maintain an organized digital asset library, including b-roll and creative resources.
  • Ensure consistent visual identity, tone, and messaging across all media produced.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers, recruiting teams, safety coordinators, and external agencies to align storytelling with business goals.
  • Monitor engagement trends and content performance metrics to continually refine the creative strategy.

Requirements

  • A Veteran Creator: 5+ years of experience in marketing or multimedia production with a portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns.
  • A Visual Director: Strong proficiency in video production pipelines (framing, lighting, audio) and editing suites (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut).
  • Industry Savvy (Preferred): Experience in—or strong curiosity for—the data center, infrastructure, or high-tech sectors.
  • Growth-Minded: Understanding of SEO, digital distribution analytics, and how content drives a marketing funnel.
  • An Exceptional Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to direct stakeholders at all levels, from field teams to the C-suite.
  • Autonomous yet Collaborative: Comfortable working independently while actively contributing to a tight-knit marketing team.
