Job Description

Based in Chicago with hybrid work options, Northern Safety & Industrial NSI offers a Channel Marketing Manager role that blends strategy with hands-on execution. The position carries an annual salary of USD 80,000 and focuses on leading co-op programs and sales enablement initiatives to strengthen partner relationships, accelerate revenue growth, and deliver measurable ROI. You will develop scalable strategies, tools, content, and programs to empower both the internal sales team and the partner network, drive demand, support conversions, and track impact.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain partner sales tools, collateral, playbooks, presentations, and training materials to drive revenue growth.
  • Work with sales leaders, channel account managers, and marketing teams to align enablement efforts with strategic objectives.
  • Hold regular partner and internal business reviews to assess enablement effectiveness, identify gaps, and capture feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Provide direct support on large opportunities, develop customer presentations, and participate in partner-facing events to boost engagement and conversions.
  • Monitor adoption and impact of enablement programs using metrics to refine strategy and demonstrate ROI.
  • Oversee the co-op marketing program strategy, budgets, processes, partner communications, and platform management.
  • Coordinate with distributors, resellers, and partners to plan, approve, and launch high-impact co-op campaigns that generate demand and measurable sales results.
  • Optimize co-op funds to maximize ROI while ensuring compliance with guidelines and brand standards.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, optimize spend, and propose future co-op strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner marketing inquiries, delivering timely support aligned with corporate priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance) to ensure programs support broader channel strategy and business objectives.
  • Develop account-specific marketing and enablement plans for top distributors and resellers.
  • Stay informed about competitive activity and market trends to enhance partner marketing effectiveness.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is required; an MBA or commensurate industry experience is preferred.
  • Minimum five to seven years of progressive experience in channel marketing, partner marketing, or sales enablement, with a preference for B2B technology or distribution sectors.
  • Proven success managing co-op/MDF programs, developing sales enablement resources, and executing full-funnel partner marketing campaigns.
  • Experience interfacing directly with sales leadership, distributors, resellers, or channel partners to align marketing and sales strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective presentation abilities in both individual and group settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to align sales and marketing toward unified goals, with a deep understanding of channel dynamics and partner marketing.
  • Solid project management and organizational skills; thrives in fast-paced environments while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Analytical and data-driven with the ability to mine syndicated data sources, forecast performance, and translate insights into compelling selling stories.
