Job Description

Deloitte’s Brand, Marketing & Communications (BM&C) community in Growth & Purpose supports executive eminence, client relationships, and brand building for a slate of senior Deloitte leaders. In this Executive Communications role, you’ll help design and refine onboarding and engagement experiences for PPMDs, while supporting communications strategies that build and protect Deloitte’s brand and reputation and keep senior leadership messaging consistent in the market. The work is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO and offers a wage range of $54,500 to $90,800 per year, with potential eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.

What you’ll do

As the Executive Communications Specialist, you will support the delivery of innovative communications strategies that position Deloitte as a leader in the marketplace and help advance the Deloitte brand through senior leaders’ external presence. You will be expected to stay agile in prioritizing and navigating the responsibilities below, balancing onboarding and engagement operations with analytics and communications execution.

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of onboarding frameworks for leaders in the Executive Communications program, ensuring processes are efficient and aligned with best practices.
  • Own, with limited oversight, the preparation and logistics for iterative conversations with leaders so Executive Communications leaders can provide effective support and guidance.
  • Support internal and external communications programs for Deloitte leaders that amplify the brand and reinforce priority messages in the market.
  • Support execution of social leadership programs, including content development, engagement, and impact assessment.
  • Collect, prepare, and synthesize executive presence impact and outcomes, developing personalized insights and recommendations for executives and their teams based on the effects of external events, media, and social media.
  • Use analytics to assess program performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making.

What you bring

  • Understanding of how to communicate priorities, mitigate impacts, and manage multiple technical projects with competing deadlines and stakeholders, including situations where requirements often change.
  • High discretion and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive information and interact confidentially with senior leaders.
  • Experience working on external programs is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product.
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships; ability to lead projects or workstreams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others; strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
  • Inclusive mindset, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to effectively manage up.
  • Demonstrated ability to support conversations with an executive audience.
  • Internal professionals currently within BM&C only.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing Communications, plus 1+ years of relevant experience in marketing communications or public relations.
  • Ability to synthesize large sets of information, extract insights, and develop recommendations.
  • Sound analytical skills and strategic planning skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience directly supporting senior Deloitte leaders; thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn quickly; high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Travel 0-10%, on average, based on work and client/industry/sectors served.

Compensation and incentives

A reasonable estimate of the wage range for this role is $54,500 to $90,800 per year. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules, with awards depending on factors including individual and organizational performance.
