Brand & Growth Marketing Content Manager
Job Description
Open Heart Magic seeks a Brand & Growth Marketing Content Lead to build and operate the content and marketing engine that drives community growth, volunteer recruitment, donor engagement, and brand awareness for Bring Magic to Kids in Hospitals during national expansion. This hands-on role requires event attendance, content creation, and campaign management.

- Salary: USD 70,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to define and refine the brand voice across channels
- Develop and manage a content strategy aligned with growth objectives
- Translate organizational goals into social media and content initiatives
- Plan and execute campaigns tied to key moments, events, and timed calls to action that drive engagement and growth
- Own the editorial calendar and ensure consistency of tone, message, and identity across materials
- Grow Bring Magic’s presence across core platforms
- Plan and run campaigns focused on volunteer recruitment, events, and awareness
- Manage day-to-day posting, engagement, and community interaction
- Continuously improve performance through testing and iteration
- Attend Bring Magic programs, trainings, and events to capture real moments and stories
- Shoot and edit video and photo content for campaigns and ongoing content
- Create compelling written, visual, and video content that reflects the mission and drives action
- Build a repeatable system for capturing and producing high-quality content
- Develop and oversee the process for sustained storytelling and content production
- Track performance across content and campaigns and prepare reporting for leadership and the Board of Directors
- Adjust strategy based on results and insights
- Support digital advertising efforts including Google Ad vendor management and running targeted digital advertising to source volunteers
- Work within an established in-house content production approach led by the founder and Senior Director of Marketing
- Build on an existing foundation of digital marketing and content development to expand reach and engagement
- Operate Sony cameras and professional audio equipment to capture high-quality content
- Edit and produce content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and supporting AI tools
Requirements
- Proven track record of building and running content and marketing systems with demonstrable results
- Energy, drive, and the courage to take a bold, proactive approach to momentum and aligning with a culture of continuous experimentation
- Comfort with both strategic planning and hands-on execution
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Interest in mission-driven work and growth-stage organizations
- Portfolio demonstrating content creation, strategy, and results (required)
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, content, or social media
- Experience shooting and editing video content (required)
- Strong writing and storytelling ability across formats
- Ability to translate real-world moments into compelling content
- Experience with analytics and performance tracking
