Job Description

Gracent is seeking a Social Media and Content Marketing Coordinator to join our Elmhurst, IL team on a hybrid schedule. This role offers a competitive annual salary of USD 60,000 - 70,000, a bachelor’s degree as a baseline, and a minimum of two years of related experience. The coordinator will plan social calendars, create and publish content across platforms, capture on-site moments, and support broader marketing projects to raise awareness of Gracent’s services.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and manage social media content calendars across platforms from ideation through publishing and performance review
  • Stay on top of social media trends, platform changes, and emerging formats; contribute fresh ideas that feel current and authentic
  • Visit our centers about once per week to build relationships with center teams and capture photo and video content showing real moments of connection
  • Collaborate with center leaders and providers to simplify content gathering, coach teams on what makes great content, and ensure media consent for every child and family featured
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with multiple brands and voices
  • Produce high-quality content for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, brochures, and flyers
  • Work with subject matter experts to create informative resources for families dealing with autism and developmental challenges
  • Use storytelling to highlight success stories, case studies, and the impact of our services on children and families
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to plan campaigns and maintain consistency in messaging across materials
  • Optimize content for SEO and lead generation; analyze performance metrics to inform strategy adjustments
  • Assist with editorial calendar management to ensure timely publication
  • Engage with the community by responding to comments and messages in a supportive brand voice
  • Assist with planning in-person company and community events for employees and families
  • Contribute to other marketing projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or a related area
  • Hands-on experience managing brand social media accounts, including planning content calendars, creating short-form video, and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Strong pulse on social media trends and platform best practices, with examples of translating trends into brand-appropriate content
  • Comfortable shooting and editing photo and video on-site; capable of capturing compelling content with a phone
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
  • Experience creating content for diverse audiences and channels
  • Solid understanding of content marketing tactics, including SEO, digital advertising, and social media marketing
  • Ability to research and understand the needs and interests of target audiences
  • Familiarity with CMS, social media management tools, and content analytics tools
  • Genuine interest in and sensitivity to the needs of children with developmental challenges and their families, including privacy and media consent considerations in healthcare settings
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Centrally located to Chicagoland centers with reliable transportation; able to travel to centers about once per week
  • Proficiency with collaboration and communication tools for remote or hybrid work
