As a Senior Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and guide strategy with internal specialists to maximize the value of their marketing investment.

Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, market, and competitive landscape
- Translate client goals into clear marketing priorities and a practical plan to achieve them
- Offer proactive recommendations grounded in performance data and market trends
- Spot opportunities to improve results or grow the account before the client asks
- Lead regular conversations with clients about performance, strategy, and next steps
- Explain marketing performance in terms that business owners and leadership can grasp
- Have candid discussions when something isn’t working and come prepared with a point of view
- Build long-term relationships rooted in trust, clarity, and accountability
- Clearly communicate client goals, priorities, and feedback to internal specialists
- Ensure everyone understands what success looks like for the account and why it matters
- Encourage strong thinking and hold the team accountable for recommendations that move the needle
- Speak up when a plan is not sufficient for the client
- Monitor performance trends across all marketing channels
- Ask questions when results don’t add up and dig in until you have answers
- Proactively surface performance context to clients rather than waiting for them to notice
- Seek opportunities to improve performance rather than simply maintaining the status quo
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in account management, client success, or digital marketing
- Agency experience strongly preferred; skilled at managing client relationships while coordinating across internal teams
- Deep working knowledge of digital marketing including Paid Search, SEO, Social Media, and website performance
- Strong communicator who translates data and strategy into clear, confident conversations with business owners and leadership
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through that clients and teammates can rely on
- Able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously without letting details slip
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize effectively when everything feels urgent
