Job Description
A retail-focused Sales and Marketing Assistant role in Columbus, OH combining customer support with social media, lead follow-up, and online growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product questions and support sales transactions for appliances, mattresses, and furniture
- Follow up with leads using phone calls and email
- Manage social media campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
- Improve online visibility using SEO techniques
- Use Google Ads to attract new leads
- Answer customer questions about financing options
- Greet customers and check voicemails
- Maintain records of sales and marketing activities
- Support marketing initiatives aimed at increasing store traffic
Requirements
- Experience with social media advertising, SEO, and Google Ads
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
- Ability to generate leads and follow up effectively
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail
- Reliable transportation required
