Retail Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Lead retail marketing, dealer enablement, and brand execution across retail, digital, and events for Velotric Bikes at Velopower Inc.
Responsibilities
- Support dealers and partners in delivering brand retail marketing plans, including new product launches, seasonal promotions, and test ride events, with strong store-level execution quality.
- Coordinate distribution and installation of brand materials (including POP/POS displays, brochures, and digital content) and help maintain consistent brand presentation across stores.
- Improve in-store visual impact at the point of sale through monitoring and guidance on brand image standards.
- Create and promote Best Practice templates to help dealers optimize product placement, customer flow, and sales pitching to improve conversion rates.
- Plan and coordinate regional consumer engagement activities such as community rides and store open days to strengthen local brand presence.
- Provide dealers with sales enablement resources including sales toolkits, product training, competitive analysis, and customer insights.
- Support dealers in building localized marketing strategies to increase local promotion effectiveness.
- Partner with finance teams to support clear communication and timely fulfillment of dealer incentive programs and rebate policies.
- Assess dealer performance regularly, identify high-potential and underperforming locations, and develop tailored growth plans.
- Act as a retail-level brand guardian through routine store visits and/or digital tools to review execution (display, materials, and service processes).
- Review dealer execution against Brand Retail Standards and provide feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Collect frontline input (customer voices, competitor dynamics, and dealer recommendations) to inform internal product and strategy improvements.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including store sales, event participation, brand material usage rate, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with key dealers as a reliable business partner.
- Organize online and offline dealer training sessions and regional summits to reinforce brand connections and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Over 3 years of experience in B2B channel support, dealer management, retail operations, or brand management.
- Preference for experience in durable goods industries (bicycles, outdoor, automotive, or home appliances).
- Must reside in the United States and have legal work authorization.
- Ability to travel to designated areas for dealer visits.
- Strong understanding of retail sales and marketing; Co-op Marketing and Digital Marketing project experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and influence skills across levels, from store sales teams to dealer owners.
- Strong project execution and multitasking with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic data analysis capability and proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM systems (including Salesforce) for tracking and reporting.
- Deep understanding of retail environments and customer experience with a customer-centric mindset.
- Self-driven and able to work independently; comfortable with remote collaboration and frequent travel.
- Electric bikes or cycling culture familiarity is a plus.
