Job Description

Based in Raleigh, NC, this on-site Pursuit / Proposal Marketing Manager role offers the opportunity to influence strategy for the MEPS Business Unit and collaborate with colleagues across NC offices. You will guide go/no-go decisions, shape capture and win strategies, and manage the full lifecycle of proposals across state, local, and commercial markets. Expect cross-functional partnership with Market Segment Leaders, Client Managers, and technical leads to craft persuasive sales messages, assemble pursuit teams, and deliver timely, high-quality proposal responses.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Market Segment Leaders, Client Managers, and technical leads to determine go/no-go decisions, plan capture efforts, define pursuit win strategies, craft sales messages, assemble pursuit teams, manage the proposal process, and develop proposal responses.
  • Own the full lifecycle of proposal preparation, including state and local proposals, design-build proposals, technical proposals, qualification packages, and oral presentations.
  • Demonstrate strong proposal management skills, including planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards to present a consistent appearance and style for all presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials.
  • Write supporting sales materials such as project descriptions, resumes, service group overviews, and executive summaries.
  • Perform QA/QC checks to guarantee proposals and marketing materials are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Graphics, or a related field preferred.
  • 8 years of hands-on experience producing proposals and managing proposal efforts in the A/E/C industry.
  • Extensive proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud desktop publishing applications (InDesign and Acrobat Pro).
  • Experience with database/CRM systems, specifically Deltek Vision, is a plus.
