Job Description

Based at University Park, PA (onsite), this part‑time summer role supports the marketing and social media initiatives of the Center for Survey Research at Penn State Harrisburg. The position involves content creation and Canva based materials, with flexible hours suitable for high school or undergraduate students.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging social media content, including graphics, captions, and short‑form posts.
  • Produce marketing materials using Canva.
  • Assist with content planning and scheduling across social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with Center staff to formulate creative communication strategies.

Requirements

  • Current high school student (rising junior or senior) or undergraduate student.
  • Familiar with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Proficient in Canva (experience required).
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Creative with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in marketing, communications, or related fields is preferred.
