Job Description

Innova Electronics Corp offers an on site, Irvine, CA based dual trainee role that blends National Account Manager responsibilities with Retail Marketing Coordinator duties. The position carries a salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 per year and supports hands-on development across accounts and marketing programs. Responsibilities

  • National Account Manager Trainee: Protect the company’s interests in interactions with customers, agencies and employees when building proposals for new or current account business.
  • Maintain paperwork accuracy to minimize corrections required by Sales, Accounting, Warehouse or other departments.
  • Develop and maintain accurate, timely reports tracking key account performance for presentation to the VP of Sales.
  • Provide management with data-driven recommendations to address negative trends.
  • Support the Sales Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day department operations.
  • Complete other assignments as requested by a Supervisor.
  • Retail Marketing Coordinator Trainee: Assist the Retail Marketing Manager in all aspects of Innova’s marketing programs that support retail partners and internal projects. Help brainstorm, create, implement and proof retail point of purchase displays, product packaging, content writing, sales presentations, trade shows, product content, and more.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of Sales Support experience inside and outside the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related program.
  • Ability to achieve results through effective management of others.
  • Strong attention to detail, planning and strategizing, negotiation, adaptability, and stress tolerance.
  • Automotive diagnostics knowledge; high DIY or entry level technician experience preferred.
  • Experience using CRM software, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience delivering Sales and Marketing presentations with a track record of meeting sales targets and applying basic business principles.
  • Knowledge of hardware and software communication is preferred.
  • Performance driven.
  • Interest in the automotive industry and DIY car repair is required.
  • Ability to plan and organize days/weeks around multiple productive activities concurrently.
  • Strong attention to detail to minimize and catch mistakes; self-reliant and resourceful.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • High proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint is a must) and web-based applications.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
  • Automotive diagnostics experience preferred (3 years).

Location

Work location: Irvine, CA 92614. Reliable commute or relocation planned before starting. This is not a remote position.
