Job Description

Within the Power Delivery Group, the Marketing Specialist role supports the development and execution of proposals, presentations, and a range of marketing deliverables that back the operating group’s communications efforts. Based in Minnesota with a hybrid work arrangement, this position contributes to storytelling across multiple channels and coordinates materials that aid sales, business development, and project pursuits.

Responsibilities

  • Support brand awareness and content creation by assisting marketing leadership in crafting compelling storytelling for customer-facing communications across diverse mediums and formats.
  • Generate ongoing content aligned with the strategic marketing plan, including core messaging, email, web, and video.
  • Assemble, write, and edit marketing and communications collateral to support sales, business development, and project pursuits, such as presentations, brochures, articles, news releases, electronic and print mailings, and social media posts.
  • Prepare proposal materials by gathering, verifying, and formatting information, ensuring that elements like technical scope, project experience, and resumes are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Plan and organize activities for trade shows, conferences, and speaking opportunities, including milestones such as groundbreaking events, topping off, ribbon cuttings, and operating group annual meeting planning.
  • Assist with engaging stakeholders across the Operating Group, coordinating on-site and off-site teams for communications, events, and other tasks that create value for team members.
  • Contribute to the Marketing team by learning systems such as Salesforce.com and market research platforms, and by creating ongoing graphical representations of data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in communications, marketing, or sales enablement, including content creation in a business setting.
  • Prior experience in a B2B services industry is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Good understanding of social media and digital mediums.
  • Proven execution of internal communications campaigns and measurable results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is preferred.
  • Excellent creative, organizational, and multitasking abilities, with flexibility as needed.
  • Excellent graphic sensitivity and judgment.
