The Marketing Specialist role pays USD 81,000 - 101,000 per yearly and is based onsite in Los Angeles, Irvine, or San Diego. Responsibilities

  • Create and oversee the production of marketing and communications materials and programs that showcase services, value proposition, experience, and competitive advantage.
  • Develop marketing collateral from concept through delivery and ensure quality control against established standards.
  • Apply industry knowledge and strategic objectives to generate innovative design and process solutions.
  • Lead the production and assembly of materials for multiple sales pursuits, proposals, and presentations.
  • Partner with Marketing and Business Development to conduct internal quality reviews of content for proposals and presentations; ensure coherence, completeness, compliance, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Steer the development and execution of social media strategies.
  • Plan and advance public relations initiatives to strengthen brand visibility and market position.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, award submissions, and executive communications.
  • Proactively identify story opportunities, cultivate media relationships, and secure coverage aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and manage internal communications that keep employees informed and connected across offices and projects.
  • Plan and distribute internal newsletters, town hall materials, leadership messages, and project updates; coordinate messaging to ensure timely, consistent communication that reinforces culture and priorities.
  • Manage the award submittal process.
  • Leverage knowledge of company operations and methodologies to develop compelling marketing content.
  • Build and maintain a professional network with technical resources, clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Identify, assess, and select third-party vendors in line with company policies and procurement guidelines.
  • Maintain a high volume of marketing information within the marketing library, databases, and CRM tools.
  • Contribute to marketing budget planning by providing expenditures and projected costs.
  • May supervise marketing team members, participate in hiring and onboarding, and contribute to performance evaluations and training plans.
  • Conduct on site interviews, gather project data, capture photography, and coordinate with project teams to develop accurate materials.
  • Engage in other duties as assigned and travel to regional offices and active job sites to support marketing and pursuit efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, plus a minimum of 2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or business-to-business professional services.
  • Proactive, curious, and ready to contribute ideas on new projects.
  • Strong marketing and construction industry acumen.
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and team-building abilities with the capacity to work across departments.
  • Knowledge of brand management, graphic design, and layout skills.
  • Research proficiency and technical writing ability, including proofreading and editing to produce meaningful content.
  • Ability to translate marketing experience into innovative design and process solutions.
  • Familiarity with RFP/RFQ response processes.
  • Able to absorb information quickly in deadline-driven, collaborative environments.
  • Analytical thinking for problem solving and decision making while adhering to policies.
  • Occasional regional travel as required.
