Marketing Manager
Job Description
Lazy Susan Design & Remodeling is seeking a part-time Marketing Manager to lead day-to-day marketing for a Portland-area residential remodeling company. This hybrid role (approximately 15 hours per week) combines remote execution with occasional on-site visits to capture project content and support team needs.
Role Overview
In this position, you will own and maintain the marketing plan, coordinate content and external vendors, and manage campaigns across social media, content, SEO/digital marketing coordination, CRM and database activities, lead generation, and performance reporting. You will also help convert completed remodeling projects into usable marketing assets such as photos, stories, and case study content.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the marketing calendar, priorities, and execution rhythm.
- Manage social media activities, including planning, posting, and coordinating project-related content.
- Transform completed remodeling projects into marketing content such as photos, stories, and case studies.
- Coordinate with CRM, photography, video, graphic design, and other marketing vendors as needed.
- Manage marketing and customer/database campaigns.
- Support ongoing improvements to website content.
- Coordinate SEO and digital marketing efforts with outside partners when appropriate.
- Develop campaigns aimed at generating qualified remodeling leads.
- Support customer review and referral initiatives.
- Help strengthen relationships with past clients, referral partners, and the local community.
- Track marketing activity, lead sources, and results.
- Provide simple monthly reporting on what is working, what is not, and where to focus next.
- Identify and test new marketing opportunities without chasing every new trend.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on marketing experience.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of marketing projects.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Experience with social media, email marketing, websites, and digital marketing.
- Understanding that marketing should drive business outcomes rather than only engagement metrics.
- Strong organization skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Good visual judgment and appreciation for design.
- Experience collaborating effectively with photographers, designers, agencies, and other vendors.
- Comfort working with basic marketing data to support decision-making.
- Enjoys working in a small, entrepreneurial environment where ideas can move quickly into action.

Schedule & Work Environment

Compensation
- $38β$45 per hour, depending on experience.
- Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour.
