Job Description

VerTerra is seeking a Marketing Coordinator in Norwalk, CT for an onsite role supporting a small team. This generalist position partners closely with sales, helps keep customer relationships active, and may expand into content and direct marketing support based on the needs of the hire.

The role combines day-to-day coordination with customer-facing communication, serving as a steady, friendly presence while also contributing to marketing collateral such as social posts and sales materials. If you enjoy keeping schedules on track, following up with customers, and jumping in where the team needs coverage, this position is built for that kind of flexibility.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate with the sales team to schedule and set up customer meetings
  • Call existing customers proactively to check in on reorders and help keep accounts active
  • Provide general office and operational support as needed, covering gaps across a small team
  • Serve as a friendly, reliable point of contact that customers enjoy hearing from
  • Create graphics and marketing collateral including social posts, flyers, and sales materials
  • Support direct marketing efforts such as campaigns, outreach materials, and follow-ups

  • Strong communication skills and comfort speaking warmly with customers on the phone
  • A front-desk mentality, enjoying being the first friendly voice or face for customers and visitors
  • High organization and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and follow through
  • Good follow-through on reorder timing
  • Self-starter who can handle ambiguity and shifting priorities in a small-company environment
  • Positive, personable attitude that customers and the team genuinely like working with
  • Ability to work in-office in Connecticut

Compensation

USD 48,293 - 58,159 per year
