Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator position at Colonial House, Incorporated is based onsite in York, PA, pays $19 per hour, and focuses on marketing, outreach, fundraising support, and admissions coordination to drive census growth and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison connecting Colonial House with community organizations, healthcare partners, referral sources, funding bodies, and other key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources to support ongoing admissions and program growth.
- Identify opportunities to broaden referral networks and enhance community engagement.
- Plan and conduct outreach meetings with hospitals, treatment providers, government agencies, criminal justice partners, and community groups.
- Represent Colonial House at community events, health fairs, provider meetings, networking sessions, and public forums.
- Attend county and regional committee meetings as the organization’s representative.
- Help establish and maintain service agreements, referral partnerships, and collaborative relationships with external agencies.
- Collaborate with Single County Authorities (SCAs) and other funding entities to sustain existing relationships and pursue new contractual opportunities.
- Continuously identify and propose opportunities for growth, service expansion, and partnerships.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to raise awareness of Colonial House programs and services.
- Maintain and regularly refresh the agency's social media channels and digital marketing assets.
- Create promotional materials, outreach resources, and marketing communications aligned with branding.
- Promote programs, fundraising campaigns, special events, and community activities across multiple channels.
- Coordinate the yearly Open House and other agency-sponsored marketing and community engagement events.
- Monitor marketing efforts and propose improvements to outreach and visibility.
- Assist in promoting fundraising events and campaigns.
- Maintain positive relationships with current and prospective donors.
- Support donor engagement activities and community outreach aimed at sustaining agency operations.
- Facilitate clear communication between referral sources and agency staff to streamline referrals and admissions.
- Help referral sources and community members understand Colonial House services, eligibility requirements, and admission procedures.
- Support efforts to achieve target census levels through outreach and relationship management.
- Assist in keeping census levels optimal within inpatient and outpatient treatment programs.
- Increase community awareness and utilization of Colonial House services.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with referral sources, community partners, and funding entities.
- Ensure professional and ethical communication internally and externally.
- Demonstrate knowledge of agency policies, procedures, and treatment services.
- Promote a positive image of Colonial House throughout the community.
- Contribute to strategic growth and organizational sustainability through marketing and business development activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Marketing and/or Community Relations experience preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills

Work Location and Environment
- Based at the 1300 Woodberry Road office
- Travel to other worksites and visits to referral sources across the state; mileage reimbursed if company transportation is unavailable
