Marketing Consultant
Job Description
This on-site role is based in Troy, MI, supporting Goldfish Swim School locations within a designated territory by translating brand marketing strategy into local plans, programs, promotions, and partnerships. The Marketing Consultant serves as the primary day-to-day liaison between the Franchise Marketing Team and each location, conveying franchise-led initiatives and assisting with territory-specific marketing execution.
Responsibilities
- Integrate new locations in the territory through tiered support steps, including checklists, calls, and on-site visits.
- Oversee ongoing training, ensure brand standards compliance, and optimize the use of marketing tools such as programs, promotions, offers, and partnerships to capitalize on local opportunities.
- Track and analyze KPI and benchmark data to identify opportunities for marketing-driven business improvements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve questions, mediate concerns, and support overall school success.
- Onboard, train, and supervise franchisee social media across the territory; audit posting frequency, maintain brand standards, and drive engagement.
- Manage partnerships with third-party local marketing or PR firms to ensure understanding of processes and adherence to brand-approved materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchises, franchisees, and vendor partners, ensuring consistent achievement of expectations.
- Contribute to team projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years in marketing; franchise or field marketing experience is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 15 percent of the time.
