Job Description

The Daston Corporation is seeking a Marketing and Sales Coordinator in Leesburg, VA (hybrid) to support campaign management, lead lifecycle ownership, and sales enablement within the GovCon sector. This role bridges marketing strategy with sales execution and reports to the Director of Marketing. The position carries a salary range of USD 49,949 to 65,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of multi-channel email campaigns using Mailchimp, with emphasis on advanced lead nurturing for Google and NetSuite offerings.
  • Coordinate the flow of marketing-generated leads to the sales team, ensuring high-quality data handoffs and timely follow-up.
  • Leverage ZoomInfo and GovTribe to identify high-value prospects, build targeted outreach lists, and provide actionable insights to the Director of Marketing.
  • Assist the sales team in developing and formatting complex proposals; ensure polished outputs using Google Docs, the M365 suite, and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with Commercial, Federal, State, Local RPF, and SOW is preferred.
  • Oversee the digital asset library to guarantee the sales team has immediate access to current, high-impact marketing collateral.
  • Manage the social media calendar and execute posts to maintain a consistent, authoritative brand voice across corporate platforms; proficiency in Hootsuite or similar tools is required.
  • Lead website administration tasks, including publishing blog posts and optimizing page content for SEO and relevance.
  • Monitor and report on Google Ads performance, offering data-driven recommendations to improve ROI and campaign health.
  • Assist with the end-to-end production of marketing materials such as one-pagers and case studies that highlight Daston’s technical expertise.
  • Support planning for virtual and in-person industry events, including management of promotional materials and post-event lead distribution.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of professional marketing experience, preferably within a government contractor or public sector company (Fed/SLED); SaaS experience is a plus.
  • Strong familiarity with promoting cloud technologies to public and private sector clients (Google Workspace/Cloud or NetSuite ERP).
  • Expertise with Mailchimp or similar enterprise email platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency with prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo and GovTribe.
  • Proven track record of monitoring and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance marketing efficiency, automate workflows, and draft technical content.
  • Excellent professional writing skills with the ability to translate complex technology into persuasive, benefits-driven copy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
