Job Description
The Email Marketing Manager, Nurture is an onsite, Seattle-based role within Amazon Web Services, Inc. responsible for leading global AWS Marketing email nurture programs to drive demand generation and product-led growth. The position defines audience segmentation, lifecycle journeys, and ongoing optimization to accelerate pipeline progression. Compensation ranges from USD 82,700 to 151,700 per year and candidates typically bring four or more years of marketing experience.
Responsibilities
- Define and operationalize the email channel strategy for assigned nurture programs, including segmentation frameworks, lifecycle journey design, and A/B testing protocols.
- Plan, develop, and execute multi-touch nurture campaigns to accelerate prospect engagement and move opportunities through the pipeline.
- Continuously optimize nurture campaigns to improve engagement, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity.
- Measure the impact of email initiatives on team goals, customer engagement metrics, program outcomes, and overall pipeline contribution.
- Regularly review and communicate nurture performance metrics, funnel progression trends, and optimization insights to peers and managers.
- Drive progress by making decisions on cadence, content sequencing, and suppression/targeting logic to accelerate outcomes.
- Develop technical and creative requirements for nurture campaigns in partnership with IDC core teams, marketing operations, and creative teams.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across core campaign teams, marketing operations, localization, and creative teams.
- Participate in recruiting and hiring processes and mentor colleagues on email best practices.
Requirements
- A minimum of four years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
- Proven ability to build and optimize multiple campaigns concurrently.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
- Experience delivering paid media campaigns across TV, print, and digital or social channels.
- A data- and metrics-driven approach to continually improve marketing programs.

A Day in the Life
Mornings are spent reviewing campaign performance and deciding on optimization opportunities, such as subject line tests or segment refinements. Midday involves partnering with campaign teams to fine-tune journey logic or suppression rules. Afternoons shift toward broader analysis of funnel data, advocating cadence changes, and sharing insights with managers or the wider team. Some weeks emphasize campaign builds, while others focus on strategy and measurement.
