Director of Brand Marketing
Job Description
The role of Director of Brand Marketing at Goods iQ blends strategic brand leadership with hands on storytelling to accelerate growth across digital and traditional channels. This hybrid position is based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, and partners closely with Sales, Product, and Operations to align brand momentum with broader business goals.
Responsibilities
- Shape and lead transformative marketing strategies spanning digital, content, social, email, and traditional channels.
- Own and evolve each brand narrative with a distinct voice, emotional resonance, and long term equity.
- Develop compelling positioning and messaging that resonates with target consumers at every touchpoint.
- Define clear objectives, KPIs, and success metrics aligned with company growth goals.
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high performing, inclusive marketing team.
- C foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and ownership across the organization.
- Set performance standards for the department and the business as a whole.
- Oversee project management to ensure world class execution and on time delivery of initiatives.
- Drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention across all channels.
- Utilize data to measure performance, extract insights, and optimize campaigns in real time.
- Own the marketing budget with resource allocation focused on measurable ROI.
- Establish a test and learn approach to continuous campaign improvement.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Operations to maintain alignment with broader strategy.
- Lead new product commercialization, channel expansion, and customer experience initiatives.
- Monitor competitive activity, category shifts, and consumer trends and act proactively.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive brand marketing experience with consumer products, including digital and performance marketing.
- 2+ years in creative agency work or multi brand consumer products leadership.
- Strong background in ecommerce, performance marketing, and marketing analytics.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and project management tools such as Asana or similar.
- Experience with digital shelf software tools; Salsify and Salesforce CRM & Marketing Cloud are strong pluses.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; MBA is a strong plus.
- Military experience is a strong plus, reflecting leadership and ownership mindset.

- Compensation: USD 130,000 – 170,000 per year, commensurate with experience
- Experience requirement: Branding experience of at least 5 years is required
- Additional notes: Supplemental pay includes bonus potential
