Digital Marketing Specialist / Social & Content

AssetLab is hiring a part-time Digital Marketing Specialist focused on social media and content for small business customers. This hybrid remote role in Renton, WA combines customer communication with social engagement, website and article writing, and practical use of AI and design tools.

Location and Schedule

• Location: Hybrid remote in Renton, WA 98055
• In-office: Three day in-office work week
• Hours: Hourly as needed, typically around 20 hours per week
• Job type: Part-time
• Schedule: Flexible schedule

Compensation

• Pay rate: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
• Hourly rate note: $30/hour depending on experience

Paid sick leave is included.

Key Responsibilities

• Create social media content and engage with followers, including off-profile interactions
• Write web pages and articles, including blogs and expertise articles
• Use fluent English written and spoken communication for email, website, and online writing
• Work in a process-based way
• Use ChatGPT and other AI tools as part of the workday
• Communicate with customers and collaborate to support digital marketing work
• Help complete changes, implement small digital marketing projects, and support new website creation
• Support marketing of AssetLab brands to align with marketing and sales goals
• Set up new services for customers

Required Experience

• Marketing experience: Three or more years working in marketing in a professional capacity
• Digital marketing: 3 years (required)

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience creating social media content and interacting with followers, including off-profile interactions
• Experience writing web pages and articles such as blogs and expertise articles
• Fluent English communication for email, website, and online writing
• Basic graphic design techniques using Canva
• Experience working process-based
• Experience using ChatGPT and other AI tools as part of daily work
