Job Description
Promotional Products Association International seeks a Digital Marketing Manager based in Irving, TX with a hybrid schedule to lead social strategy, planning, and execution across organic and paid channels, owning social content and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy and content plan in collaboration with the creative team, stakeholders, and industry influencers to boost brand visibility and engagement.
- Build, execute, and monitor platform-specific content plans for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels aligned to organizational objectives.
- Drive content creation, ensuring creativity, speed, and alignment with the brand strategy.
- Identify cultural trends, platform shifts, and audience behaviors, activating them in brand-relevant ways.
- Lead social influencer initiatives, coordinating with internal clients and partners to meet objectives.
- Maintain social specifications documentation and update the creative services team on platform changes.
- Promote an always-on, agile content creation cadence that reflects the pace of culture.
- Measure creative performance, optimize content strategies, and translate insights into action.
- Analyze and report social performance against defined KPIs and brand objectives.
- Support broader Social and Communications initiatives as needed.
- Plan, execute, and monitor social media campaigns across multiple platforms to enhance PPAI’s digital presence.
- Partner with Marketing, Media, PR, and Agency teams to ensure integrated and consistent messaging.
- Oversee social media accounts, fostering audience interaction through community management and timely responses.
- Analyze audience insights and trends to refine strategies, expand reach, and grow follower counts.
- Manage relationships with internal clients for campaigns, delivering plans with objectives, timelines, and review cycles.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in social media strategy at a brand or agency, with agency experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to cross-collaborate across marketing, creative, and client teams.
- Successful track record translating brand and communications strategy into high-performing social content.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and creator-driven content ecosystems.
- Strong point of view on best practices for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Experience creating and managing social content calendars.
- Familiarity with social media management and listening tools such as Sprout Social or similar.
- Ability to operate with confidence and sound judgment in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Community management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated thought leadership in social strategy or platform innovation.
- Ability to attend and capture content at PPAI events and conferences for real-time postings aligned to priorities.
- Experience or familiarity with WordPress and website UX is a plus; willingness to learn website tools and strategy is required.
