Job Description

Withersworldwide is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator for its New York office to support a broad range of marketing and business development initiatives with an emphasis on digital marketing. The role reports to the Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of US Marketing & Business Development, and collaborates with the west coast and London-based digital team.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the firm’s content management system and related digital tools to create, edit, publish, and maintain digital content such as attorney biographies, practice and industry pages, insights, events, campaign pages, and more.
  • Ensure accuracy, currency, user experience, brand consistency, search visibility, and client engagement across all web content.
  • Participate in the Kentico 13 to Kentico Xbyk upgrade, attending project meetings and assisting with user acceptance testing and related tasks.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of an upcoming en-us version of the website to better target US traffic, including microsite build, testing, and ongoing maintenance post-launch.
  • Coordinate with the London-based digital team on website updates, platform improvements, content workflows, and digital best practices.
  • Support content management across additional digital platforms, which may include video, podcasts, or digital publication tools.
  • Maintain the firm’s digital presence via channels such as Google My Business and Wikipedia.
  • Draft, schedule, and publish social media posts across LinkedIn and Instagram in line with firm policies and brand guidelines.
  • Create and edit social media assets, including branded graphics, images, and campaign materials.
  • Support the development of social media content for campaigns, events, thought leadership, awards, rankings, and attorney announcements.
  • Monitor social media activity to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Educate internal stakeholders on digital and social media best practices to support employee advocacy and consistent brand presentation.
  • Use Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to produce on-brand marketing materials, including social assets, invitations, sponsorship ads, event collateral, newsletters, presentations, brochures, and other digital materials; coordinate with external designers when appropriate.
  • Source appropriate imagery from approved stock libraries and ensure alignment with the firm’s brand; store assets in shared locations for the team.
  • Maintain consistency of visual identity across digital marketing materials and channels.
  • Support SEO initiatives to enhance search visibility, website performance, and engagement in collaboration with the digital team and external agencies.
  • Assist with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) efforts to optimize content for AI-enabled environments.
  • Use analytics and reporting tools to track, analyze, and report on website traffic, social media performance, and campaign activity.
  • Prepare clear reports that synthesize digital performance data, highlight insights, and recommend next steps.
  • Stay informed on digital marketing trends, SEO, GEO, analytics, AI tools, and emerging technologies, sharing relevant ideas with the team.
  • Assist with the preparation, distribution, and reporting of branded newsletters, briefings, event invitations, and other email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the firm’s CRM and email marketing systems to support targeted communications, list management, and campaign execution.
  • Track and improve email marketing performance using CRM data and analytics from social media and website traffic.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure campaign materials are accurate, timely, well targeted, and aligned with firm objectives.
  • Support US marketing and business development initiatives, including digital campaigns, client communications, events, sponsorships, directory submissions, awards, research projects, and profile-raising activities.
  • Assist with research on clients, prospects, competitors, markets, and industry trends to support pitches, RFPs, campaigns, and marketing initiatives.
  • Track, coordinate, and calendar marketing projects, digital campaigns, and related business development activity.
  • Organize project information, next steps, timelines, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support onboarding, training, and knowledge-sharing around digital tools, marketing technology, processes, and systems.
  • Participate actively in team calls, planning meetings, and project discussions.
  • Collaborate with the US Marketing and Business Development team, the London-based digital team, the CRM team, and other global colleagues.
  • Build strong working relationships with external SEO, CMS, eMarketing, and design agencies to support digital and brand projects.
  • Contribute ideas and practical recommendations to support the firm’s digital strategy.
  • Work constructively with internal stakeholders, attorneys, and business services teams to understand needs and deliver strong digital outcomes.
  • Support ad hoc digital, marketing, and business development projects as required.
  • Monitor the digital inbox and respond to internal inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience, ideally in a law firm, financial services, or professional services environment.
  • Strong digital and software skillset, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of InterAction or another CRM system.
  • Knowledge of Vuture or another email marketing system.
  • Experience using social media tools in a professional setting is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and capable of collaborating with colleagues at different levels within the firm.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Curious and resourceful with a proactive work style.
  • Ability to self-start and work independently as well as part of a team in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Credible, diplomatic, and acting with integrity in all interactions.
  • Availability to attend or host events during early mornings or evenings as required.
