Digital Marketing & Content Specialist
Job Description
Stoic Wealth Advisors is seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to help shape the firm’s online presence through consistent, educational content. This role focuses on owning social media, maintaining the website, producing video, and supporting email marketing, with work routed through required marketing and compliance review processes.
What you’ll do
- Develop and manage a consistent monthly and quarterly content calendar.
- Create, publish, and maintain content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other appropriate platforms.
- Produce Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels, including idea development based on what is trending.
- Turn financial-planning concepts into approachable, educational, and engaging content aligned to the firm’s philosophy.
- Monitor engagement, respond appropriately to comments, and help strengthen the online community.
- Identify relevant topics across financial, retirement, business, community, and lifestyle for future programming.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all digital channels.
- Plan, film, edit, and publish short-form and long-form videos, including educational videos, founder messages, event recaps, client updates, and social-media clips.
- Create scripts, storyboards, captions, thumbnails, and supporting graphics; manage basic lighting, sound, camera setup, and post-production.
- Repurpose longer videos into shorter pieces for social media, email, and the website.
- Maintain and update the Stoic Wealth Advisors website, including creating and revising pages, articles, team bios, landing pages, forms, and calls to action.
- Improve website appearance, functionality, search visibility, and overall visitor experience.
- Coordinate with outside website, technology, or compliance providers when necessary.
- Monitor website traffic, form submissions, and other conversion activity.
- Write social-media posts, website copy, newsletters, articles, video scripts, event invitations, and marketing emails.
- Maintain an organized email-marketing calendar and support promotion of initiatives such as Coffee Talks, community events, charitable activities, seminars, and other firm initiatives.
- Review content for accuracy, grammar, brand consistency, and required disclosures.
- Create branded graphics, presentations, handouts, event materials, and digital advertisements, while supporting consistent visual standards across firm communications.
- Maintain an organized library of photographs, video footage, logos, templates, and other marketing assets; coordinate with photographers, videographers, printers, designers, and vendors as needed.
- Track website traffic, email performance, social-media engagement, video views, and prospective-client inquiries.
- Prepare a concise monthly marketing performance report and recommend improvements based on measurable results.
- Help establish a reliable process for identifying how prospective clients discover the firm.
- Test new content formats, campaigns, and distribution strategies, and submit public-facing materials through the firm’s required review and approval process.
- Maintain organized records of approved content and supporting materials and follow applicable financial-services advertising and communication standards.
- Work collaboratively with the firm’s compliance resources while bringing creativity and fresh ideas to the role.
Key qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, communications, digital media, or a related position.
- Demonstrated experience managing social-media accounts for a business or professional organization.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience filming and editing polished video content.
- Experience maintaining a business website or content-management system.
- Strong visual judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, calendars, and deadlines, while working independently and taking ownership.
- Ability to receive feedback and revise work without losing momentum.
- Professional judgment and discretion with financial and client-related subject matter.
- Portfolio or examples of previous writing, design, website, social-media, or video work.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, media production, or a related field is helpful; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Compensation and work details
- Location: Prescott, AZ (onsite)
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday (typical); occasional attendance at client events, community functions, or after-hours programs may be required
- Local travel: Some local travel may be necessary for photography, video production, or firm events
- Salary range: $60,000–$72,000 per year
- Pay: $60,000.00–$72,000.00 per year
