Brand Coordinator (Freelance)
Job Description
Freelance Brand Coordinator role in Pittsburgh, PA, focused on marketing planning, seasonal strategy, and cross-functional content execution for American Eagle Outfitters.
Responsibilities
- Support marketing planning and help develop comprehensive marketing plans.
- Assist the Brand team in building seasonal briefs through gathering hindsights and customer insights.
- Create and maintain seasonal planning documents, including seasonal marketing plans, supplemental imagery plans, cross-functional sharebacks, and marketing sizzle decks.
- Organize the season's product and marketing priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to collect information on brand partnerships and collaborations, ensuring Creative deliverables align with external brand guidelines.
- Support additional brief needs for special projects within a season.
- Oversee timelines and tactics in Monday.com for both creative and copy teams.
- Develop pre-season timelines for planning deliverables, covering marketing plan development and content capture needs for supplemental imagery.
- Assist in preparing agendas for pre-season planning meetings.
- Lead weekly cross-functional meetings as assigned.
- Provide support for activations as required.
- Contribute to seasonal hindsights across brand channels.
- Deliver monthly competitive recaps for Stores and Digital channels.
- Support process improvements within the brand team by maximizing tool utilization, including Monday.com and Edited.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of retail or agency marketing experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication with reliable follow-up.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com.
- Technology-forward mindset, open to learning new tools and integrating them into workflows.
- Knowledge of marketing best practices.
- Capability to manage multiple projects with varying levels of complexity simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with business partners to prioritize day-to-day tasks.
- Effective in formal presentations across one-on-one, small groups, and larger meetings with peers and leaders.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
