Assistant Marketing Manager
Job Description
Based in Atlanta, GA 30318 on site, Warner Bros. Discovery seeks an execution-focused marketing professional to lead the marketing execution for TNT Sports content, reporting to the Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of marketing programs, coordinating internal support and driving cross-team collaboration.
- Assist with creative ideation and the lead-request process for priority content, partnering with the Creative Services Sports Unit to shape the vision and ensure assets align with brand and strategy.
- Oversee trafficking and tracking of marketing assets to internal teams and external partners.
- Support the Marketing team in preparing presentations and postmortems for sports property tentpoles and priority initiatives.
- Set priorities and manage schedules for on-air graphics, and draft copy for on-air reads and media buys.
- Collaborate across teams including Creative Services Sports Unit, Talent, Social, Insights & Research, Bleacher Report, The Media Group, and Marketing Operations.
- Partner with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications across print, digital, and video assets.
- Hire, manage and train semester interns.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of marketing and/or sports experience with a focus on strategy support and project management.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications or related field.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and the ability to be a self-starter.
- Passion for sports with a solid understanding of basketball, football, and related areas.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with an eye for quality creative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Experience working within a team and contributing to collaborative projects.
- Experience with marketing automation and project management tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
