As an Assistant Manager for Marketing Ops & Communication, you will lead grand openings, remodels, and local events with external partners while shaping internal and external brand narratives through strong writing, coordination, and project management.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement turnkey marketing toolkits to support grand openings, remodels, and local restaurant events with outside partners.
- Collaborate with corporate teams on new restaurant openings to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Track upcoming NROs and identify opportunities to elevate openings through Brand Buzz or PR support.
- Perform quarterly audits of marketing toolkit adoption and gather franchisee and field feedback to identify opportunities for new tools/resources and enhanced support.
- Provide quarterly highlights and reminders of existing NRO programs for potential new franchisees.
- Share grand opening announcements and photos with internal audiences.
- Partner with Franchise Business Consultants to help facilitate NRO resources and tools to the field.
- Draft and distribute internal messaging including organizational announcements, leadership updates, promotions, brand initiatives, and events.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, HR, Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams to gather information and develop effective communications.
- Manage internal communications calendars to ensure timely, consistent messaging.
- Assist with agenda development and content support for Town Hall Meetings, Team Huddles, Spring Business Meeting, and Brand Conference.
- Maintain internal communications resources, including surveys, templates, process guides, and media library assets to ensure consistency, accessibility, and efficient execution across the organization.
- Assist with review of press releases, media alerts, briefing materials, Q&As, and external messaging, and posting to LinkedIn.
- Track PR performance metrics and support campaign recaps and reporting.
- Support crisis communications planning and rapid-response needs.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in communications, PR, marketing, events, or related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience supporting multi-location, hospitality, restaurant, retail, or franchise brands preferred.
- Experience supporting grand openings and events preferred.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Detail-oriented.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Bachelor's degree required.
