Job Description

Fluent, LLC invites an Account Manager (Performance Marketing) to lead a sizable book of advertiser clients, craft performance-driven marketing strategies, and sustain partnerships that drive revenue growth. This onsite role is based in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire a deep understanding of Fluent's inventory, reporting analytics, competitive edges, resources, and processes, and clearly articulate these to both new and existing clients.
  • Oversee a large client portfolio and nurture relationships with advertisers to meet and surpass performance expectations, ensuring long-term success.
  • Track client budgets with a focus on increasing spend, and prepare formal business reviews for top-tier clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, including onboarding, performance feedback, creative changes, pacing and performance reports, meetings, campaign recommendations, and revenue-growth strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Account Director to identify, develop, and implement solutions that achieve measurable business results; act as an external product consultant to educate clients and agencies on ad solutions and best practices, fostering partnership growth.
  • Understand client KPIs and communicate these metrics internally to inform optimization efforts.
  • Proactively present opportunities to generate additional revenue.
  • Manage product onboarding, coordinating campaign builds with Sales, creative design with the Media team, and tracking requirements with Operations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver ongoing feedback, analysis, optimization suggestions, and recommendations.
  • Strategize plans to expand business with existing accounts and explore additional channel distribution.
  • Monitor monthly billable targets and coordinate with Finance for invoicing.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience managing a book of business within digital performance marketing.
  • Solid background in the digital performance space.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to manage multiple campaigns concurrently.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Attention to client budgets and spend targets, with experience in revenue pacing and sales activities.
  • Excellent math and analytical capabilities.
  • High proficiency in Excel, including functions used to analyze complex data sets.
  • Experience with industry tracking software.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
  • Management experience is preferred.

Salary Range

Base salary range: USD 70,000 – 80,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary by location, experience, and performance.
